I have no idea what is in these boxes. Is that a problem?
Not at all. That is the normal starting point here, not the exception. Photograph the boxes and binders as they are and send them through the form. We do the identifying.
Do I need to catalog or count the cards?
No. Please do not spend a weekend inventorying thousands of cards. Photos of how the collection sits right now are enough for us to tell you what the next step should be.
Is any of it actually worth something?
Honestly, it depends on the cards, and we will tell you either way. In most collections a few cards carry most of the value, and our review is built to find them. We do not price every common card one by one. We find the cards that matter and ground the number in what those cards really sell for. If the collection is mostly common cards, we say so plainly, for free.
What about cards with sentimental value?
