Questions
Selling, Answered
Why should I trust you with my cards before you pay me?
You should not rely on trust. You should rely on accountability, and on a process where your downside stays limited no matter what we do.
Start with who we are, all verifiable before you ship anything. Mint By Memphis is a registered Texas business with a state tax ID and a resale certificate. The owners are public and named, Butch and Tamera, and the company carries our son's name, Memphis, so there is no anonymous shell between you and the people responsible. We run a public eBay store with a feedback history you can read in full, a real website, real social accounts, and sellers who have sold to us more than once. Look it up first. We would rather you did.
The transaction is built to protect you at each step. You get a fair range before you ship and a firm written offer once we verify your cards in hand. Shipping is fully insured and tracked both ways, so there is a record that your cards reached us and a record if anything is ever lost. When the package is opened, the verification is recorded, so what arrived and its condition are documented, not our word against yours. You are never obligated to accept the final number, and if you decline, your cards come back fully insured. There is no path where you lose both your cards and your payment.
Then weigh the economics. For a company whose entire value is its standing with sellers and the platforms it depends on, keeping one collection would be a documented act of theft, with tracked delivery and recorded contents, traceable to a registered business and two named people who can be pursued civilly and criminally and removed from every marketplace they use. It would cost far more than it could ever take, at any collection size. That is your protection: not our character, but a structure that makes any other outcome irrational and traceable.
What if my cards are lost or damaged in shipping?
Every shipment is fully insured both ways. We send a prepaid, insured, signature label, so your cards are covered from your door to ours and, if you decline, all the way back. You are protected the entire time they are in transit.
How does selling to you work?
Submit a few photos and details, we send a fair preliminary range, you ship the cards to us insured, we verify everything in hand and confirm your exact offer, and we pay you fast. Four simple steps.
What do you buy?
Sports cards, Pokémon, One Piece, Magic, Yu-Gi-Oh, graded and PSA slabs, sealed product, high-end singles, and entire collections or estates.
How do you decide what to offer?
We research recent sales and current market values for your specific cards, then make a fair offer and explain how we got there. Sometimes the honest number is higher than you expected and sometimes lower, but it is always grounded in what the cards actually sell for, never a figure pulled out of the air.
How fast do I get paid?
Within 24 to 48 hours of verifying your cards, by your preferred method.
What is Vault Credit?
Vault Credit is our trade program. Instead of taking cash, you can apply the full value of your accepted offer toward eligible inventory at Mint By Memphis. Many collectors use Vault Credit to consolidate collections, move into graded cards, pursue a grail, or shift their collecting focus. The value is the same as cash. The difference is what you choose to do with it.
Do I have to accept the offer?
Never. If you decline, we return everything to you free and insured. There is no obligation at any step.
